about

In 1994, as the northern Massachusetts punk band What's in the Fridge? broke up, members Ian James (bass) and Marc Davey (drums) began writing acoustic moody songs on guitar together, going in a completely different and unexplored direction from the loud and fast music they had been recording in the punk and metal scenes. Early four track demos of these songs were captured on cassette tape in 1993. In 1994 the pair entered West Sound Studios in LondonDerry NH, with Mike West at the engineering controls. The album originally released on cassette and featured seven songs, with the first song called De Capo. A "Godfather" type of mafioso feel. This song had to be left off of this re-issue due to movie soundtrack copyrights that had not been originally licensed. 30 years later with a new mastering, the album is making its way into the digital sphere.
